It’s amazing what our teeth can do…we’ve seen them open cans, pull 18-wheelers and just about anything else
you could imagine! However, for as strong as they have the potential to be, our teeth can also be surprisingly fragile…one wrong move could mean losing one or more of your pearly whites forever.
Whatever the reason may be, thousands of people across the GTA have suffered through the aesthetics of a permanently missing tooth without the knowledge that there is a simple solution. You may even know someone or BE that someone yourself!
Luckily, there is a proven dental procedure that’s long-term and seamless and has only been improving over the last several decades: restoration implants. Not only does this simple procedure return full functionality to your teeth, but it can also be indistinguishable from your real teeth!
I know that the dentist’s office gets a bad rap and some people are terrified of even the most basic checkups. I’ve read the same horror stories that you all probably have about the potential dangers of these restorative implants, including everything from infection to nerve damage.
Well, I’m here to tell you that there is nothing to worry about! While dental restoration implants may not be the best or only solution for everyone depending on a patient’s specific needs and situation, they are being provided at an increasing rate of satisfaction and with the highest level of safety. Just ask our customers!
To get the best idea of what’s involved in a dental restoration implant (and just how simple it can be), take a look at some of the pictures I’ve included to the right. A “new root,” made of titanium, is surgically placed into the jawbone and then a replacement tooth is used to cap this new root. In more serious cases (as you can see in the last picture), whole bridges that include multiple teeth are sometimes implants all at once.
I love meeting with my clients, both old and new, so if you feel as though you might be a candidate for a restorative dental implant, stop by our midtown office for a consultation. I’ll easily be able to recommend you for the surgical proce
dure or, in some instances, for what is called a ‘mini dental implant.’
Visit our website for more information about our restorative dentistry services and instructions on how to schedule an appointment.
I’d hate to see someone miss out on an otherwise fantastic smile just because of a missing tooth. This is thefuture of dentistry – it’s safe and will give you that lasting, beautiful smile that you’ve always wanted! Can’t wait to see you!
